The Red Devils are have officially announced the transfer of Bastian Schweinsteiger to MLS side Chicago Fire, and it’s been met with mixed opinion here in the Tavern.
The German world-cup winner didn’t really have the best time since signing for the Manchester giants, and in all honesty it’s not the biggest surprise to see the 32-year-old depart the Premier League side.
Our landlord thinks the MLS is the perfect place for him to play in the latter stages of his career, as it’s evident he’s lost the mobility and pace that he once used to have.
