Sadio Mane is currently one of the best footballers on the planet.
Last year’s Ballon d’Or rankings say as much, anyway – he finished in fourth place behind Lionel Messi, Virgil van Dijk and Cristiano Ronaldo – and he has shown how important he is once again this campaign. All in all, he has 18 goals and 12 assists in 38 appearances in all competitions for Liverpool.
Recently, though, there have been reports that he could leave the club, with Real Madrid said to be interested in taking him to Spain. Now, Liverpool Echo reporter Ian Doyle has written an article on the increasing rumours of him leaving, indicating that if he wants to win the Ballon d’Or he may need to leave the club.
