Celtic know that the title race is firmly in their hands once again this season, despite more pressure being put on by Rangers.
Brendan Rodgers and his team have been serial winners during their time together and that has already continued this season.
With a cup win already secured, the next aim is to again win the title, which would be made easier with some new signings.
Celtic’s main problem right now would be the injuries they have had to deal with and with their squad paper thin as it is, they really need to invest sooner rather than later.
In the striker department, Odsonne Edouard remains the only out-and-out forward fit and ready to play every game.
Therefore, rumours are suggesting the Hoops may make a move for Swansea’s Wilfried Bony, in order to bring more of a goal threat to Celtic Park.
After suffering with injuries, the 30-year-old has found it tricky to cement a place within the Swansea set-up and could look for a way out.
His contract is up at the end of the season and if fit, not only could Wilfried Bony be a brilliant mentor for young Odsonne Edouard but also, he could definitely score goals in Scotland.
A nuisance for any defender to handle, Wilfried Bony could turn out to be a brilliant signing for Celtic and a big step towards winning the title with more options in attack.
