Celtic: Fans laud Scott Brown after goal-scoring display against Livingston

Plenty of Celtic fans on Twitter were showering captain Scott Brown with praise after his performance in today’s 4-0 win at home to Livingston.
The 34-year-old scored his first Premiership goal of the season shortly before the hour mark when his deflected shot found the opposition net to put the Hoops two goals to the good.
That was Brown’s third goal in all competitions this season, matching his tally from the whole of 2018/19, and his performance was praised by Ryan Brown of Read Celtic, who said that the Hoops veteran was “solid in the middle of pitch and got his reward for having a dig at goal”.
The captain came in for heavy criticism from some Celtic fans earlier in the season, with a few calling for him to retire following the Champions League defeat to CFR Cluj in August.
However, these Celtic fans on Twitter were singing a very different tune today, feeling that Brown had an excellent game against Livingston:
Broony could play at the top level until he's 40, easy.

I thought Broony was on the wain at the start of last season. I feel I have been very wrong. After these last couple of Celtic games he is looking every bit as good as he has been in a Celtic shirt. He's everywhere today. #SPFL #CELLIV #CelticFC
