Celtic won 2-0 at Parkhead against Swedish side AIK last night, but during the clash, they had an exciting piece of news, as Fraser Forster was announced on-loan midway through the first half, to the delight of the Hoops.

Welcome back, Fraser!

Forster will be spending the season in Glasgow, returning after a five-year absence which he’s spent at Southampton. In recent years the Saints have seen Forster drop down the order in the goalkeeping ranks, but now he has a chance to revive his career at Parkhead.
At the age of 31-years-old, Forster has plenty left in the tank, and has a great opportunity to add to the 101 clean sheets he racked up in his Celtic days over the course of his 197 games, Transfermarkt, at the famous Glasgow club.

The Hoops love the signing of Forster, and it’s now just a matter of time to see if he can still be the wall that the fans have fond memories of.
