Celtic are now getting back to the recognisable league dominators they always have been as any team in their way stands a big problem.
Brendan Rodgers has improved upon the poor results they suffered at the start of the season and the Hoops are now storming back towards first place in the league.
Their start, if anything, highlighted that they aren’t perfect no matter how many trophies they win and there are improvements possible in their side.
What a big improvement recruiting a player like Wigan’s Nick Powell would be, who is out of contract in the summer.
Powell, who is valued at £2.7 million on Transfermarkt, is a player that would massively improve Celtic as an all-round team. The 24-year-old has most definitely been on a journey in the footballing world, struggling at Manchester United as a youngster, to now thriving in the Championship with Wigan.
With four goals and five assists this season already, he has continued his brilliant start to life in the Championship. The ability to play in Europe though with Celtic in the future, is an opportunity that surely couldn’t be passed on.
As Powell is still only just 24-years-old, he remains a player with a bright future ahead of him, that could be spent improving Celtic.
Available to play as an attacking midfielder or further forward as a second striker, Nick Powell would be a player that creates more chances for Celtic to put away.
Last season, he managed to score 15 goals and provide a further eight assists, proving furthermore why he would be such a smart addition for the Hoops, when out of contract in the summer.
