Sky Sports journalist Michael Bridge believes that Porto are the club that still want Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos.
Portuguese outlet A Bola reported earlier this month that there were talks between Porto and the players agent, with a €12million proposal plus another €5million in add-ons being discussed.
With much speculation about the Colombian striker’s future, Sky Sports journalist Michael Bridge told Transfer Tavern: “I think Porto are the club that still want him.”
The 25-year-old has been with his national side at the Copa America this summer, where Colombia came from behind to beat Peru 3-2 in the third-place playoff.
After Scottish Premiership title success last season, manager Steven Gerrard has already moved to strengthen his Rangers squad this summer signing three players, with Fashion Sakala, Nnamdi Ofoborh and John Lundstram all having made the move to Ibrox.
Rangers begin the defence of their Scottish Premiership title at home to Livingston on Saturday 31st July, before travelling to Malmo FF on Tuesday 3rd August, for the UEFA Champions League third Qualifying round first leg.
