Glasgow Rangers appear to be within touching distance of securing a move for Ianis Hagi.
The Romania international has impressed in the short time he has spent at Ibrox since making the loan move from Genk, with his brace against Braga in the Europa League being the main highlight to date. When he made the short-term move, the Gers were said to have a €5m (£4.4m) purchase option in the deal – it looks as though they will secure him for a fee around that number as such.
Gers legend Barry Ferguson, though, certainly doesn’t appear to believe that he is worth that price. Talking to PLZ Soccer about the potential deal for the 21-year-old, he said: “I don’t think it is going to be anywhere near £5million. I would probably look nearer the £2m or just below that.”
Will Hagi be at Rangers next season?
Ferguson is a hero from his playing days with the Gers outfit, but it appears that many of the supporters are far from happy with these latest quotes. They have taken to Twitter to share their thoughts, and you can see some of the best comments from the social media platform below.
Why do ex players come back and slag of the team that made them . Very disrespectful and very poor

I don’t understand why Barry barely has anything decent to say about us. A great player for us but when the shirt was off his back, it seems there is some sort of agenda?
