The Liverpool fans in the Transfer Tavern are absolutely devastated…
As reported by AnfieldHQ, Adam Lallana has been ruled out for a period of up to four weeks – with the midfielder suffering an injury whilst on international duty with England.
This will, of course, mean that he will miss Liverpool’s upcoming Merseyside derby with Everton – a game that, for many in the pub, is must win for both sides.
It will mean more than that, though, as Lallana could also miss a run of vitally important fixtures in the Premier League – with our landlord now convinced that the Reds could miss out on Champions League football as a result.
Indeed, Jurgen Klopp will need to maneuver his side out of this situation, with Coutinho likely required to step up his form in the absence of Lallana.
It isn’t just the Liverpool fans in the pub that are disappointed, though, with the Reds on Twitter also clearly very upset at the news – with one fan even claiming that Liverpool’s season is over…
Lol Lallana being injured is even worse for Liverpool, focal point in their attack, game against Everton should be decent
