Lots of Sheffield United supporters have been raving about Dean Henderson online, after the club’s official Twitter account uploaded footage of the goalkeeper making “unbelievable” last-minute saves against Norwich City.
Henderson made a series of close-range reaction stops in quick succession to deny the Canaries in the dying stages of the game and secure the Blades’ slender 1-0 lead (BBC Sport).

After arriving at Bramall Lane on loan from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s Manchester United, the 22-year-old has continued to impress between the sticks, making 27 appearances for the Blades in the Premier League this season, keeping 10 clean sheets and only conceding 22 goals. Henderson’s market value is estimated at £16.2m (Transfermarkt).
By contrast, the Red Devils’ number one David de Gea has played in 29 games in the English top-flight, keeping 8 clean sheets and conceding 30 goals (Transfermarkt).
Understandably, given his heroics throughout the campaign, many fans will be desperate for the loan signing to stay in Yorkshire for the foreseeable future, and a large portion of the SUFC faithful took to social media to share their views on the youngster. One supporter hailed Henderson as “outstanding” and another dubbed him “England’s No.1.”
