Sheffield Wednesday are certainly looking pretty good at the moment in the Sky Bet Championship with them in the top six and capable of getting even higher.
Whilst the concern over the EFL looking at their finances won’t go away just yet, things on the pitch have been impressive with them in the top six and beating Nottingham Forest handsomely last weekend 4-0 at the City Ground.
The Owls have always had good players in their squad but it has been a case of unfulfilled potential for some time with some managers coming in and just not getting it.
Garry Monk has done a good job so far, though, after Steve Bruce helped steady the ship from Jos Luhukay’s tenure.
And, going back to his time in charge and comparing to now, it’s clear there’s a stark difference:
Sheffield Wednesday are 13 places higher and 12 points better off than they were at this stage last season. #SWFC https://t.co/l9QwqNHsOm

Fans have had plenty to say about this on Twitter, too, so let’s take a look at the best of what has been said on the social media site:
Because Jos is no where near 😂

Helps when you don't have a manager throwing out teams like this 😂 pic.twitter.com/DINKOqiEPM

Was always simple play your best players. Unfortunately we had to endure Jos! Possibly cost us a place in play offs.

And really should be more…

Good lord. Well done Messrs Bruce and Monk. No kids in the team but there we go.

And yet still we get the moaners thinking we're interested in their negativity
