An image of a retro Sheffield Wednesday shirt is doing the rounds on Twitter and has got many Owls fans going wild.
The football shirt collector Twitter account @1505football has posted an image of the Yorkshire outfit’s 1990-92 away kit and many fans are loving it.

Wednesday had some great performances during this era, including their 1991 League Cup win and their promotion to the First Division in the same year (as per swfc.co.uk). The Owls stayed in the top flight for a long period until relegation from the Premier League in 2000. [via Transfermarkt]
This season is a huge contrast from these earlier glory days. Sheffield Wednesday are currently 15th in the Championship after losing 15 league matches under Garry Monk this term (as per Transfermarkt).
