Sheffield Wednesday: Fans react to Dom Howson tweet about Atdhe Nuhiu

With the Championship season coming to a close and Sheffield Wednesday sitting in 16th, plans could already be underway as to how Garry Monk can improve his squad for next term.

One player at the club whose future will need to be decided sooner rather than later is Atdhe Nuhiu, as his contract is due to expire when the season ends, and Yorkshire Live reporter Dom Howson has given his opinion on the player. Howson posted his article on Twitter about what to do with the 30-year-old, and said ‘Atdhe Nuhiu has been a good servant for #SWFC but it is time to move on’

This has prompted a lot of debate among many Sheffield Wednesday fans, with some agreeing and some disagreeing with the journalist.

The Kosovo forward has featured 276 times for the Owls in all competitions and scored 50 goals whilst registering 27 assists, per Transfermarkt. This highlights how good a servant the striker has been for the club, although it seems that not all of the Hillsborough faithful are desperate for him to stay.
