Rangers have had by no means a bad season, having just got promoted back to the SPFL, but our landlord here at the Transfer Tavern expects a lot more to come from them under Caixinha from here on out.

It’s been a tough few years for the Rangers faithful here in the Transfer Tavern,  having had to go to essentially the bottom and watch their rivals Celtic dominate whilst they played the likes of Dumbarton on a cold Thursday evening.

So it can only get better surely? Well yes in terms of them actually being back at the top but with that comes a struggle of trying to stop the big boys from England and Europe coming in for your players.

However knowing that it would be in Rangers’ best interests to try and utilise that and get as much out of the clubs as they possibly can! So it’s likely that these TWO players will be worth the big bucks in the not so distant future.

BARRIE MCKAY

The Scottish midfielder has already attracted some attention from Germany in January, from high-flying big spenders RB Leipzig who are currently on the verge of Champions League football.

That will only make it harder for the Gers to keep him at the club, and we’ve seen just how well the last Scottish player Oliver Burke has done since arriving at the club, it’s no wonder they want to add more British talent.

They have the cash to splash and Rangers should utilise that if they are to eventually sell him.

JOE DODOO

The former Leicester City and Premier League-winning forward went to Scotland to try and kick start his career as a first-team regular and although the 21-year-old hasn’t quite done that just yet, he is showing his talent as he did in Leicester’s reserves and cup squad last term.

Dodoo is a homegrown player and that’ll only add value to his commodity; watch out for this young lad he’ll back in England in no time and become a star for sure!
