There has been a lot of talk here at the Transfer Tavern lately with regards to Arsenal, but the main focus hasn’t been where it should really be, which is the players on the pitch!

Instead, it has been all about their gaffer Arsene Wenger in recent weeks, and now it’s time to get back to talking about some of the talented players in their system.

The Gunners have developed some of the best youngsters that the game has seen, who have then gone on to depart for large sums of money, the likes of Cesc Fabregas and Robin van Persie, who had long successful spells with the Gunners before departing for big sums of money.

They were all brought to the club by the gaffer Wenger who has an eye for some great talent, but then again he has also signed the likes of Francis Jeffers and Yaya Sanogo, but the less said about them the better!

But what they’ve done well is bringing in players fairly unknown and for a cheap price tag before then building them up and selling them on, but they also have a habit of signing younger players for big fees.

However they have got some really good young players coming through their ranks at this moment in time too, that will surely be worth big bucks in the not so distant future.

Our landlord has decided to take a look through Arsenal’s ranks, and has compiled a shortlist of players who’ll surely be worth big bucks….

GEDION ZELALEM

The highly regarded midfielder has a long way to go in his career and if he continues with the amount of success he’s had so far, then he’ll be a big star in the not so distant future and the Gunners faithful will be hoping that it’s at the Emirates.

However, if he does decide to depart the club, it is likely that the youngster would leave for a sizeable sum of money.

If he can fulfil his potential, then the Arsenal top brass will be laughing.

JEFF REINE-ADELAIDE

The French midfielder Reine-Adelaide has been superb in the Arsenal reserves and prior to his switch was doing superbly for Ligue 2 side RC Lens at just 16-years-old!

Now 19-years-old he still has the world at his feet and he is going to surely go on to big things.

This lad won’t come cheap to any team who wish to sign him that is for sure.

Arsenal will know the kind of talent that this young lad has and they’ll want to keep him at the Emirates for the future.

KRYSTIAN BIELIK

The defender is currently on-loan at Birmingham City, and he has shown this season in the Championship why Arsenal done so much to bring him to the club from Legia Warsaw.

The Championship is one of the toughest and and most demanding leagues the world has to offer and he looks right at home in Zola’s team.

He’ll come back a much better player for his time away from the club, and he’ll be worth a lot more than they invested in him, that is a guarantee.

Not only that, but he has potential to be worth big bucks.
