Crystal Palace are in full on survival mode at the moment under Sam Allardyce, which for the landlord here at the Transfer Tavern is no great surprise at all.

With Big Sam at the helm, we always knew that they’d find some consistency in the latter stages of this season.

But with that in mind, they have to be careful of losing players in the summer. There are only so many relegation battles that certain players can go through before they decide enough is enough and move to a team higher up the table.

The Eagles have some real class players who are of an international level and won’t be as patient as the likes of Damien Delaney and Joel Ward, who are ‘tied’ to the club.

Although they could be sold, there are certainly a couple of players who could leave the club for a large sum of cash in the not so distant future. We take a look at two…

WILFRIED ZAHA

He’s been the standout star for the Eagles for the past two seasons and he may not be the most consistent but he has got pure talent.

Zaha has shown most recently during the international break with Ivory Coast just what he is capable of and what England have missed out on. He may have moved once before to a big club in the form of Manchester United, but since then he’s matured a lot and silenced many of his doubters.

SULLAY KAIKAI

This inclusion may surprise a few readers but we here at the Tavern feel that when this lad finally gets his break in the Palace first team, he will show everyone his true value and just how good he really is.

Avid viewers of the Football League will know just how much this lad has to offer through his loan spells away, most recently at Brentford where he was re-called by Sam Allardyce after doing so well. Aged 21, English and home grown, he’ll only become worth more and more every time he plays!
