The Football Transfer Tavern have been watching West Ham United closely, and have noticed that there are some fringe players who should definitely be getting game time.
The team haven’t been at their best so there are some, such as Reece Oxford, that could potentially get into the first team, however some are a bit off of that level so it could be best for them to go out on loan for a while.
Young hammers like Josh Cullen at Bradford City and Lewis Page at Coventry City have got a good amount of game time while on loan, which will undoubtedly help their development and so this could pave the way for more West Ham youngsters to go out on loan in January.

Marcus Browne
Marcus Browne is a very exciting talent that West Ham will be looking forward to eventually having in their first team.
However it could be dangerous to make him wait until he gets a first team appearance, as he has previously shown that he is hungry for first team action on social media after youngsters were not used in West Ham EFL Cup match with Accrington Stanley.
The young attacking midfielder has played in the Checkatrade Trophy and Europa League for the Hammers, but getting him more regular first team football elsewhere, could give him the opportunity to show Slaven Bilic just how good he could be for the first team.
Declan Rice
The young hammer has been impressing everyone at West Ham since featuring in the club’s pre season tour of USA. Before that the defender won the Dylan Tombides Award in recognition for his academy performances, but it is this season he has shown that he is able to perform against older and more experienced players.
At just 17 he is playing ahead of his years already, but a loan at a lower league club could help his progression further and he has shown that he can perform at that level in the Checkatrade Trophy when he held his own against Coventry City, despite his side losing 4-2.
