Our Leeds fans here in the Transfer Tavern really are looking forward to their side getting going next season as they are hoping for a promotion challenge.
For sure, the Whites have to be considered up there with the likes of Aston Villa as one of the favourites to get promoted in 2017/18 but the hard work for that needs to start now.
Indeed, they certainly need to get a new manager in as soon as possible whilst it is also vital that new players are signed – as well as ensuring the best of the current squad is retained.
Chris Wood certainly fits into that latter bracket, then, with him scoring goals for fun last season and – as quoted by Lee Sobot on Twitter – he appears focused on staying at Leeds, instead of worrying about Garry Monk’s departure.
