Southampton fans are having varied opinions on Saints kits after the club tweeted a picture of star striker Danny Ings modelling the new retro range available on their website.
Some of the kits available include their 1991-93 home and third shirt, their 1997-98 away shirt and their famous 1976 retro jacket which they wore in the final of the FA Cup against Manchester United (Independent). Southampton won that game 1-0, thanks to a goal from Bobby Stokes in the 83rd minute and this result was seen as one of the biggest shocks in history at the time. It was the first time the Saints ever won a trophy and it is their only major title that they have ever won.
This season, the Saints were knocked out of the cups early on, losing to Tottenham in the 4th round of the FA Cup and Manchester City in the last 16 of the Carabao Cup (Sky Sports).
