Southampton look to have turned a corner this season to put supporters in a much better mood.
Their official Twitter account recently posted a picture of the team with the caption “team spirit”, and fans really enjoyed what they saw.
This comes after the Saints were able to beat Aston Villa 3-1 at Villa Park and climb out of the relegation zone.
Things looked really bleak earlier on the season, especially after the 9-0 thrashing by the hands of Leicester City. However, Ralph Hasenhuttl’s men have since gone on a mini revival, with Danny Ings at the heart of it.
The 27-year-old was on the scoresheet again over the weekend after he fired past Villa twice to take his tally for the campaign to 11.
He was just one player to prominently feature in the picture that Southampton tweeted, making fans laugh as he posed with a silly face.
