What year were Southampton founded?

Salisu, who made the move to St. Mary’s Stadium for £10.9m in August, is yet to play a single minute for his new club in all competitions. Speaking prior to the match against the Magpies, Hasenhuttl said that he is improving in his development, along with Will Smallbone, but neither will be ready for the clash this weekend.

This is no doubt worrying. The Saints spent a considerable amount of money on the central defender, and for him to be once again unavailable to play will no doubt be frustrating not just for the manager, but for everyone involved at St. Mary’s Stadium.

Are you worried about Salisu?

The club’s supporters are clearly far from happy with the news, and they have taken to Twitter to share their thoughts.
