Liverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson has taken a lead role in a new advert for Men’s grooming brand Nivea for Men. And we at Transfer Tavern are surprisingly impressed with Hendo’s acting skills.
The 24-year-old midfielder stars in the ad alongside fellow Liverpool teammates Raheem Sterling and Simon Mignolet, in an entertaining advert that involves a Delboy-style three-wheeled car and some deodorant.
Henderson, who is set to take the much-coveted captain’s armband from Steven Gerrard at Anfield has impressed at the Merseyside club this season, but it seems it is not just his cameo appearances on the pitch that are captivating.
Sterling and Mignolet seem to shy away from the limelight in the advert, with Henderson taking the starring role. Who knows… Henderson might pursue a career in acting when his playing days are up?
The advertisement starts with a somewhat naked Jordan Henderson receiving a seemingly urgent text message, which says that him, Sterling and Mignolet are late for some exclusive event.
The Liverpool trio then find themselves in a dodgy looking three-wheeler alongside a very confused looking man, who seems to have no idea where he is going.
