Chelsea’s major summer transfer target Diego Costa had an interesting day yesterday.

The Atletico Madrid superstar suffered a nasty injury after colliding with the post when scoring his sides second goal during the 2-0 win over Getafe.

Costa appeared to have a nasty gash in his shin, and was stretchered off the field of play.

He is now a doubt for Atletico’s Champions League semi-final clash with Chelsea on April 22nd.

The incident occurred after one of the more bizarre moments of the season, when Costa stepped up to take a penalty, and was put off behind a supporter behind the goal – who MOONED him.

It seemed to do the trick though, as Costa missed his spot kick.

Lets just hope it doesn’t catch on…
