Tottenham Hotspur will be desperate to take a step in the right direction once the international break comes to an end, as they’ve struggled to ensure consistency in recent times.
Indeed, the Lilywhites will be desperate to secure a top four spot in the current campaign, otherwise they’ll need to win the Champions League to stand any chance of playing in the competition next season.
But, it looks as if their eyes are currently on the summer transfer window.
What’s the news?
Tottenham Hotspur are interested in Wolverhampton Wanderers’ Diogo Jota, according to the Express.
Indeed, the Portuguese attacker has been on fire in all competitions this season, producing an impressive seven goals and five assists, which includes two goals and two assists in his last three games.
Mauricio Pochettino believes that Jota, could be the man to take some of the pressure off Harry Kane.
The Verdict:

Many Spurs fans will agree that signing a player to provide back-up for Harry Kane has to be one of the club’s priorities in the summer transfer window, as he’s had to carry the main loan by himself at times.
Diogo Jota is a special player who’s settled down to life in the Premier League with ease, so the North London club wouldn’t have to worry about giving him time to adjust if he did make the move.
Although, Wolves are looking to build something special at Molineux and they’re on course to secure a European place in the current campaign, so it may be difficult to lure him away.
Tottenham Hotspur fans, do you think Jota is the right man to be Kane’s understudy?
