According to a report by journalist Dean Jones, writing for Eurosport, Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy is ‘very likely‘ to consider Leicester City boss Brendan Rodgers if Jose Mourinho is sacked – with the Lilywhites board member trying and failing to bring him to Spurs before.
Rodgers has so far guided the Foxes to third in the Premier League table, level on points with Man United, as they chase a Champions League qualification spot after narrowly missing out last season.

Lauded as a ‘very talented’ manager by Mourinho himself recently (Leicestershire Live), Levy has apparently tried and failed to convince the 48-year-old into joining Spurs before – with the chairman ‘very likely’ to consider Rodgers once again if Tottenham’s current boss is shown the door.
RB Leipzig head coach Julian Nagelsmann is also being tipped as a candidate alongside Rodgers, but it remains to be seen as to who Levy will appoint if he does in fact decide to axe Mourinho.

Things have not gone according to plan at Tottenham, as per Eurosport, with Levy frustrated at a number of decisions made by Mourinho at the helm – namely how he has treated both Gareth Bale and Dele Alli this season.
Facing a potential decision, Tottenham look set to assess Mourinho as the 2020/2021 campaign goes on – and he is expected to have until the end of the season at least.
