Our Liverpool fans here in the Transfer Tavern have certainly seen plenty of exciting developments from their club in recent days with them really aiming to do something special in the transfer market.
Indeed, the Reds signed Naby Keita earlier this week for the 2018/19 season whilst a campaign was launched for Thomas Lemar – though that has so far been unsuccessful.
Meanwhile, of course, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has arrived from Arsenal with him clearly wanting to try and force himself into a top side ahead of the World Cup next summer.
Whether he can do that or not, though, remains to be seen and he’s certainly got a trend to change when you consider his appearance stats for Arsenal over the past years – as per Sky Sports Statto on Twitter:
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain made 132 PL apps in just over 6 seasons at Arsenal – never made more than 17 PL starts in a single season pic.twitter.com/0vflunKzRh

Certainly, then, this is something that the former Southampton man will be wanting to change for the rest of this season as he looks to kick on with his career at Anfield.
