Rangers’ Greg Stewart was in action on Sunday, albeit in a video game tournament.
The Gers man was taking part in a PES (Pro Evolution Soccer) competition along with 10 others players, with him representing his current employers. The others sides involved are Zenit St. Petersburg, Celtic, AC Milan, Internazionale, Bayern Munich, Manchester United, Juventus, Schalke, Barcelona and Arsenal.

In the very first round, Stewart was drawn against the Russian side, and that was to be the beginning and the end of his participation. Zenit have striker Aleksei Sutormin playing for them, and he was by far the more prolific in front of goal, winning 4-2 to send the 30-year-old packing.

The club’s supporters were following his efforts, and it is far to say they were far from happy he was unable to win even a single match. They took to Twitter to share their thoughts, and you can see some of the best comments from the social media platform below.
Should be ashamed of yourselves after that. Shambles.
