Alongside Luis Suarez a few years ago, Sturridge cemented his place as one of Europe’s most deadly forwards – and he would be wise to find a club that values him highly.

Will it change?

His team-mates do not look like they will be giving up their regular starting positions anytime soon as the attacking trio of Mané, Firmino and Coutinho continue to devastate opposition defences.
