Wow! The Crystal Palace part of the Transfer Tavern is rocking and who can blame them?
The Eagles fans in the Tavern have watched their side beat Chelsea and Arsenal in the last few weeks which has seen Sam Allardyce’s men climb well above the relegation zone.
Big Sam is somewhat a specialist in relegation fights having never been relegated from the Premier League and our landlord is fairly confident when he says Palace won’t get relegated this year.
However, what the Eagles do need to do is to rejuvenate their squad in the summer and the Palace punters in the Tavern are hoping that their scouts are in place looking at some potential talent to bring to Selhurst Park next season.
Our landlord agrees and has been researching hard down in his beer cellar looking at players who would fit the south London side’s budget but also enhance their squad this season. An example of this has been the signing of Luka Milivojevic as the Serbian international has really played a part in the Eagles’ fight against relegation.
With that said, our landlord has devised a list of players who he thinks can come and make a similar impact to Milivojevic for Palace.

Lucas Lima
With Crystal Palace reportedly dropping their interest in Lucas Lima (via The Sun,) our landlord believes Big Sam should change his mind and get his scouts out to watch the Brazilian in action.
Our Palace punters in the Tavern agree and feel they need more creativity in their ranks, especially if Wilfried Zaha is a target for other clubs this coming transfer window.
Moussa Sissoko
With Wilfried Zaha’s future potentially away from Selhurst Park, Palace fans in the Tavern are of the opinion that Sissoko could be the man to fill the Ivory Coast international’s boots.
Our landlord believes Sissoko needs to be thoroughly scouted before any move is made for him, especially considering the lack of effect he has made since his big move to Spurs from Newcastle in the last window.
Yann M’Vila
A player Big Sam already knows about from his time at Sunderland, our landlord believes the former England boss will be getting his scouts to amass footage in order to get M’Vila to Selhurst Park in the Summer.
Reportedly a target in January (via The Telegraph,) Palace fans in the Tavern believe M’Vila could further improve their midfield which has been impressive in recent weeks.
