Sunderland need something to go their way sooner rather than later or they face another season stuck in the third tier of English football past this campaign.
It’s not been a good season as we get towards the halfway stage for the men from Wearside.
Things started steady under Jack Ross but results were not good enough for those in charge of the club and they duly looked to change things up with Phil Parkinson going in.
Parkinson, though, has not had good displays produced under him and he is under considerable pressure as we get towards Christmas.
Perhaps one positive to come from this season, though, is the continued emergence of Benji Kimpioka who has shown he could well be one to pin some hopes on for fans.
However, with him taking in an interview with the club’s official channels some fans have taken to Twitter to suggest he might be better off leaving for his own good.
