The Liverpool fans here in the Transfer Tavern are hoping to see Jurgen Klopp build on what is turning out to be a successful season.
Liverpool are one of the most dangerous sides in Europe on their day as we seen against Man City, and our regulars have watched in awe as they have dominated their opposition over the last few months. Although the start of the season was a little bit rocky, following the signing of Virgil van Dijk in January, it seems to have steadied the ship ever so slightly.
Klopp and FSG should be looking at a few key areas to build on this summer, as the team that they have created can only go from strength to strength if the right players are brought in. Our barman thinks The Reds could go for the title next year, especially if they were to bring the right type of players into the squad
Improvements are needed in a few key positions, and the Liverpool owners have their work cut out to have a productive summer. With that in mind, our landlord takes a look at what TWO players FSG need to bring Klopp this summer…
Alisson

The Brazilian number one is a must for Klopp this summer, as the goalkeeping situation, this season has not been ideal, to say the least. A lot of chopping and changing led to the team becoming very nervous in the first third of the pitch.
A regular voice in between the sticks is needed for the better of the team and Alisson is a top-drawer keeper that can only improve Liverpool as a whole going forward.
Jonny Evans

With West Brom looking more and more likely to be relegated this season, Evans could come at a bargain basement price in the summer. Liverpool need to sure up the defence, with the arrival of Van Dijk already, another defender with vast Premier League experience would be a very welcome addition to the team.
The former Man United defender has the experience of both sides of the table and would still have that Premier League winning mentality that is key to winning trophies.
