Graeme Murty will be pleased with the progress that the club has made under his guidance in the current campaign, as they’ll be looking to secure a European spot in the remaining couple of games. Indeed, many of our local residents are delighted that Murty could still bring some silverware back to Ibrox, as they find themselves in the semi-finals of the Scottish Cup.
Although, the Bluenoses have dropped off the pace in the Scottish Premier League recently, with Aberdeen and Hibernian gaining ground in the race for a European place. So, Dave King will be keen to iron over any problems at the end of the season, with plenty of questions being lined up for Murty as he looks to secure the permanent job.

Handle pressure?
Rangers have let themselves down at times in the current campaign, as they’ve failed to make the most of promising positions that could’ve brought about a lot more success.
Indeed, Murty hasn’t dealt with defeat in the Old Firm derby very well, as they immediately followed it up with another loss against Kilmarnock, something that could come back to bite them.
Therefore, Dave King will need monitor Murty’s management very closely from here on in, having failed to grind out positive results in the most pressured of situations.
Decision-making?
Rangers have failed to take their chances in the current campaign, as the Englishman’s decision-making has arguably cost them a shot at the Scottish Premiership title.
Indeed, the Bluenoses were leading Celtic twice in the most recent Old Firm derby, but Murty’s game management let them down as he changed to a more defensive approach that invited pressure.
Therefore, Dave King needs to raise questions about the 43-year-old’s ability to manage the situation in front of him, having made a couple of bad decisions in arguably the biggest game of their season.
