Our Arsenal fans here in the Transfer Tavern are hoping to finally get back to winning ways after a horrendous time of it lately.

The Gunners are having probably one of their worst weeks in football in recent times and the regulars are fuming with the display. Indeed, the fans are baying for Arsene Wenger’s blood and many are demanding a change as soon as humanly possible. All in all, the Emirates is not a nice place to be around at the moment.

However, football can change in 90 minutes and Le Prof will surely be hoping that is the case today against London rivals Watford. A team display that can mirror the win over Everton will get the majority back onside and start to build momentum going into next season, whether the Frenchman will be there is still to be resolved.

Arsenal need rehauling before the game starts today and our landlord feels that Alex Iwobi should be replaced with 1 of these 2 players in order to get the win…

Aaron Ramsey

The Welshman had hit a bit of form until recently and Aaron Ramsey could be the missing link in the Gunners midfield to add a little bite. After his hat-trick against Everton, many in the bar had thought he would kick on and rally the troops, though another good game didn’t come until their recent trip to the San Siro.

However, he along with his teammates have all disappeared in recent weeks, and if they want to turn it around, everybody including Ramsey needs to pull out a big performance.

Danny Welbeck

The former Man United player hasn’t really done that much at the Emirates since his move down south a few seasons ago. That being said, Welbeck can cause mayhem with his pace and directness, something that is missing from Arsenal at the moment.

Welbeck could be off in the summer according to our barman, as he barely offers anything to the team. However, today he needs to show that he does and can add something special going forward.
