The Red Devils midfielder, who has unfortunately been ruled out for the rest of the season due to injury, regularly posts on his own website, JuanMata8.com, to share his thoughts about the club, the beautiful game in general and the world of sport.
Mata’s latest update reacted to Manchester United’s impressive 2-0 win over Chelsea on Sunday – arguably the most significant victory of Jose Mourinho’s tenure thus far – and the Borussia Dortmund bus attack, but also contained a message of gratitude towards all of the fans who’ve wished him a speedy recovery.
An ever-popular figure amongst the Old Trafford faithful, however, the Spain international’s thank you message was received by United fans once again offering him their support and best wishes as he looks to battle back from a significant injury.
