When refs make a bad decision it is usually the talk of the pub for years. Baz will tell Daz that “If Spurs hadn’t conceded that second goal to United they would have definitely won the game”.
Of course neither Daz or Baz will ever know, but without the use of goal-line technology, replays cameras, ten thousand referees or an all-seeing heavenly God to help referees out, the following ridiculous decisions will still continue to hinder the modern game.

10. Female Brazilian Ref
If there was every any argument that women shouldn’t be allowed to ref the man’s game, it may be this. Of course, I don’t want to touch of the rather controversial topic too much, but this one really takes the biscuit. Oh by the way, I’m not saying it’s because she was a woman she made such a howler… it just doesn’t help their cause!

9. Italy during the 2002 World Cup
Well I suppose it’s fine, the English love to see the Italian’s lose. That said, some of these decisions are awful. I remember Korea during that World Cup being a little fortunate at times as well, make of it what you will.

Well we deserved to lose, I can’t really moan about that, but had this goal been counted we all might have seen a different second half performance. Think this will be the last time I ever watch this one. I hate the World Cup now.
