The Manchester United fans in the Transfer Tavern were relieved upon the final whistle after watching their team scrape past a spirited Brighton and Hove Albion team today.
In today’s Premier League clash at Old Trafford, the Red Devils were under par but still picked up three points.
This was thanks to a goal from midfielder turned wing back Ashley Young.
He cut inside and his speculative effort looped off Duffy and into the net to hand Manchester United all three points and leave the travelling Seagulls with nothing to show for their efforts but pride.
There was a mixture of opinion flooding in on social media after the game.
Many of the fans expressed their disappointment at the performance while others were more concerned about picking up the three points.
