The Crystal Palace section of fans in the Football Transfer Tavern are on the up once again after the south London club agreed a deal to appoint Frank de Boer as manager last month.
The Dutchman’s appointment followed the resignation of Sam Allardyce last month and this could provide a whole new era at Selhurst Park which will potentially move the Eagles onto better and bigger things in the top-flight.
De Boer has spent the majority of his recent managerial career at Eredivisie outfit Ajax who are world-renown for producing top quality talent to play in Europe for years to come – which could be the exact same at Crystal Palace.
The club have an abundant number of rising talents in their ranks and if they are to become a threatening force then those will be useful in the upcoming twelve months.
Here are TWO Palace wonderkids who could have a major impact on the club’s 2017/18 season…..
Sullay Kaikai
Sullay Kaikai is one of the most promising talents to come out of the Crystal Palace academy and he could become one of a few to make the step up to first-team football in the Premier League.
The winger has racked up vital experience during loan stints with Cambridge United, Shrewsbury Town and most recently Brentford in the Championship last term.
In the landlord’s opinion, if the new boss gives Kaikai a string of games in the senior squad next term then it is highly likely the youngster will fully thrive for the Eagles and have a major impact in their ambitious hopes of European football.
Keshi Anderson
With Crystal Palace’s striking options being stretched at the moment having just Christian Benteke and Connor Wickham, it might be time for a wonderkid to step up and that may very well be Keshi Anderson.
The Luton-born attacker has slowly learnt his trade in the professional game following loan spells at Doncaster Rovers, Bolton Wanderers and Northampton Town, and is making a real impression on the punters in the Tavern.
If either of the current two forwards suffer an injury then Anderson could be a suitable replacement and net the goals on a weekly basis, proving to be a real asset for the Eagles.
