Celtic are flying high at the top of the Scottish Premier League, and they are not going to be stopped in their quest for the title under Brendan Rodgers.
The squad these days might not have the big names it once did back in the 90’s and the 2000’s, when the likes of Henrik Larsson graced the turf at Celtic Park, but there are still some quality players there.
Our Celtic fans here in the Tavern are often heard talking about the amount of young players they have produced in the last few years, and talk over at the fruit machine this week has centered on that very topic.
Our landlord concurs, and thinks that in the next few seasons, the club could really start to benefit from the host of young talent what has been made available.
Here, we look at TWO Celtic wonderkids who could go on to captain the club in the future…
Liam Henderson

Already somewhat of a regular in the first team squad at Celtic Park, Henderson is certainly one player who could go on to have a top class future with the club.
Loan spells have served him well, and his impressive spell with Hibernian saw him really develop.
The midfielder will be hoping for a long career with Celtic, and would no doubt love to captain the club one day.
Aidan Nesbitt

Another midfield player at the club who looks promising, the 20-year-old is currently enjoying spell with Morton, where he has become a regular fixture in the first eleven.
Nesbitt will be hoping to return to Celtic Park next season and put his stamp on the team, and one day hopefully progress to being captain of this huge club.
