Maurizio Sarri will be desperate to bring a few new faces to Stamford Bridge, that much is clear. The Italian has a big task on his hands to turn Chelsea around after their poor last campaign, and he’ll need to refresh his squad to be able to impress.
One player that the Blues reportedly want to bring in is American ace Christian Pulisic.
Sarri, no doubt, would love to see Pulisic at the club, given his focus on exciting attackers and quick play going forward.
However, it wouldn’t just be Sarri who would benefit from his arrival. There are a few Chelsea players that must be licking their lips at the mere prospect of the American moving to Chelsea.
With that said, these 2 Chelsea players would be unstoppable if Pulisic moves to Chelsea – agreed?
Alvaro Morata was crying out for more talent behind him last season, and Pulisic would certainly deliver it.
He’s an attacking midfielder in the most natural sense, and his number one priority is often to move play forward and create offensive magic.
Morata is a player that feeds off of quick attacks and technical interlinking play, and Pulisic – with his incredible pace and technical ability – would be right at home as a result.
Willian has a tendency to slow play down, but Pulisic would be of huge benefit to Morata.
Eden Hazard would be right at home with Pulisic too, for many of the same reasons.
Like Morata, and indeed like Pulisic, Hazard is an offensive player that is always positive and looking to move forward. In Pulisic, he’d find the perfect partner in crime to achieve his offensive goals.
The pair would be able to make the most of their ability on the ball to link up and create magic going forward, and that’s something that hasn’t really been seen at Chelsea since Hazard was partnered by Juan Mata and Oscar.
For Hazard to be at his best, he needs positive partners, and Pulisic would be the perfect example.
