Our Manchester United fans here inside the Transfer Tavern are expecting to progress against lowly Yeovil Town in the FA Cup, but also know that this cup can bring up some fantastic upsets.
Jose Mourinho and his men travel to Huish Park in the Friday night Fa Cup fourth-round tie, night matches always create a better atmosphere. Furthermore, our regular travelling fans who’ll be catching the coach from the pub, will be hoping that doesn’t play into the home side’s advantage.
The Red Devils will be riding high after the signing of Alexis Sanchez this week, although many of the punters don’t think we’ll see him in a red shirt just yet. Nevertheless, this gives the fringes players that last chance to stake a claim for a starting berth in the following matches.
With this in mind, our landlord takes a look at two players that could really benefit from getting a run out this weekend…
Luke Shaw

Shaw’s recent upturn in form has drawn praise from the man in charge in his recent press conference, however, on the return of Ashley Young, Shaw was once again dropped to the bench after starting five straight matches for the first time in his Red Devils career.
Another showing of the pace and talent he has to offer needs to be rammed down Mourinho’s throat in order for him to see that there’s no need to dip his hand in the market for a left back, not just yet anyway.
Marouane Fellaini

The Belgian midfield has caused arguments among the United stands ever since he arrived on deadline day from Everton. Many want him out, many see him as a great plan B.
Mourinho is fond of him, many of the regulars have noticed that but with his contract talks stalling and being able to leave on a free in the summer, Fellaini can use the Yeovil match to say ‘Hey, I deserve the money I’m demanding’.
Yes, many of the punters say it’s only Yeovil, but a good solid display could add to his stock.
