These 2 players could follow Coutinho out of Liverpool in January

Liverpool have had a rip-roaring start to the Premier League season and their supporters here in the Transfer Tavern are delighted with how things are progressing at Anfield.

Under Jurgen Klopp, the Reds seem to really be going places and their progress since Brendan Rodgers left has, at times, been superb.

With Anfield’s main stand renovated and attendances at an all-time high, there is a real feel-good factor whipping around the terraces on Merseyside right now.

But of course, with the good form comes with the rumours linking good players away from the club and one man who has been tipped to depart has been Phillipe Coutinho, with Barcelona interested in making a move.

The Brazilian has been playing some of the best football of his career and it’s easy to see why he’s being chased, much to the disappointment of the die-hard Reds landlord here in the pub

But who else could be set to follow him out of Anfield this January?

Here’s TWO players that could leave Anfield with Coutinho this winter…

Daniel Sturridge

Daniel Sturridge has had a tough old start to the campaign and if his current play time is anything to go by, it could be a long season ahead for the former Chelsea man.

Jurgen Klopp is loving Roberto Firmino in the striking role, and the Englishman’s future looks in serious doubt.

He could be one to leave in January, purely because of a lack of first-team action.

Mamadou Sakho

Sakho

Liverpool defender Mamadou Sakho has already been told by manager Jurgen Klopp that he won’t be part of his first-team plans going forward so there seems little point in him staying beyond January.

The French international is a competent defender who has been completely ostracized at the club and there is little chance of him coming back into the first-team fold.

So with that in mind, a January move would definitely make sense for Mamadou Sakho.
