These 2 players could follow Kris Commons out of Celtic in January

Brendan Rodgers’ rebuild at Celtic seemingly knows no limits, considering the quick-fire nature of their turnaround under his watch.

For the Hoops fans propping up the bar in the Transfer Tavern, it’s been quite the few months as the ex-Liverpool coach creates a whole new side at Parkhead.

Perhaps the biggest indicator that there are changing winds, it seems Bhoys stalwart Kris Commons is set for a move away from Glasgow.

Having won so much under Neil Lennon, it seems the 33-year-old is likely to reunite with his former coach at Hibernian as they try to win promotion after a number of years battling in the second tier.

While the former Scotland star has given so much to the cause in green and white, he hasn’t featured since March and his seemingly imminent exit surely won’t have much of an impact on the first-team.

To that end, with so much deadwood picked up in recent seasons, Commons shouldn’t be the only exit in January as Rodgers continues to shake things up.

That being said, here are TWO players who could follow Commons out.

Logan Bailly

loggy

Having barely featured for the SPFL champions since joining, the form of Craig Gordon and arrival of Dorus di Vries surely means Logan Bailly has no future at Parkhead.

Linked with a return to his homeland, the Belgian surely won’t be at the club after the first month of 2017.

Efe Ambrose

Efe Ambrose

Like the aforementioned Commons, Efe Ambrose was also a popular member of Neil Lennon’s era in charge at Celtic.

However, the Nigerian has proved far more trouble than he’s worth whenever he’s been handed a start and will surely be cut from the squad considering the strength in defence.
