For the Manchester United fans in the Transfer Tavern, they’ve been delighted following their recent run of good form under the stewardship of Jose Mourinho. 

It seems for the first time at the helm, the self-proclaimed ‘Special One’ is proving truly convincing and the January transfer market really provides another chance to further stamp his authority on the ranks.

Mourinho will be further tasked with clearing the squad of the deadwood picked up during the Louis van Gaal and David Moyes eras and the first to leave looks as if it will be Morgan Scheiderlin.

The Frenchman has barely featured under the Portuguese and has been linked with a move to Everton, and may not be the only man to end his Theatre of Dreams nightmare over the next few weeks.

With all this in mind, here are TWO players who could follow Morgan Schneiderlin out of Manchester United this January.

Ashley Young

Linked with a whole host of sides, surely Ashley Young won’t be a Manchester United player much longer.

The former Aston Villa and Watford ace has far more dynamic options ahead of him in most berths and it would take a huge injury crisis to see the 31-year-old make another appearance in the first-team.

Not much of a future.

Bastian Schweinsteiger

Another who surely won’t be a United player much longer, Bastian Schweinsteiger has been almost completely frozen out by Mourinho.

The German World Cup winner will be picking up a huge wage to do very little at Old Trafford these days, so will surely leave the club as soon as possible.
