Our Liverpool fans here in the Transfer Tavern can’t wait to see what the summer holds for their club with many of them expecting some busy months.
The Reds were very quiet in the last window and many have put that as the main reason that their title challenge fell by the way-side over the hectic period of fixtures that came alongside it.
Even so, the club are still well in contention for a top four finish as the games begin to spread out again and so if they can finish in those spots and add in the summer they’ll be looking good.
To do that, though, they may have to ship some players out with the latest departure being touted that of Emre Can to Juventus by Transfer Market Web.
The midfielder may not be the only one to move on in the summer according to our landlord, though, and so here are two other players that could be gone then as well…
Daniel Sturridge

The more time goes on the less likely it seems that Daniel Sturridge is going to be a Liverpool player next season.
Once such an important player to the cause at Anfield his injury record and failure to really adopt Jurgen Klopp’s playing style seems to have finally done it for him. He very rarely gets a run-out now and when he does he looks out of sync so it’s probably best he moves on.
Alberto Moreno

The Spanish left back started the season with a torrid display at Arsenal – prompting James Milner to take his place.
Ever since then he’s never looked like getting a start in the league, too, and so surely Klopp is going to try and get him out of the door as soon as possible. Put simply, he’s not good enough to play for Liverpool at the level they want to be at and so that should spark his departure from Merseyside.
