Our Liverpool fans here in the Transfer Tavern are getting excited over the latest rumour of a Real Madrid star potentially joining the ranks.

The 21-year-old Real Madrid player was sold the dream over Barcelona in the summer and seemingly opted for the Bernabeu instead of the Nou Camp. However, since that move, Dani Ceballos has barely played having been largely used as a substitute for the majority of the campaign.

He was reported to have asked to leave in the winter window due to happiness and lack of game time but has been further promised more minutes. However, surely Liverpool are interested in bringing the midfielder to Anfield in the summer and our regulars are getting a little excited over the thought of him lighting up the Kop end.

Alisson

Liverpool are in desperate need of a goalkeeper to be in between the sticks on a regular basis, that much is obvious. Indeed, this season there has been much chopping and changing in the nets much to the annoyance of the regulars in the bar, as well as the defenders for sure.

Klopp would surely be on the lookout for a quality GK to replace both ‘keepers and anything is a level up to what they currently have within the ranks.

Harry Maguire

Liverpool need another centre-defender to partner Virgil Van Dijk going forward, despite Dejan Lovren recently hitting some form. A solid foundation needs to be built at Anfield and bringing in Leicester City star defender Harry Maguire would be the start of a concrete base to build the rest of the team upon.

Maguire is much courted around the Premier League and no doubt Liverpool would face some tough competition for his signature, though he’d certainly be worth it.
