These 2 wonderkids could emerge for Celtic in the second half of the season

Brendan Rodgers has led Celtic to an unbeaten league campaign this term in what has been a hugely impressive performance by the Bhoys.

Rodgers spent well in the summer and the acquisition of young striker Moussa Dembele is turning out to be a masterstroke.

It was a quiet January for the club though, and our Celtic fans here in the Transfer Tavern are happily snacking on their pork scratching’s looking forward to the second half of the season.

One thing Brendan Rodgers might seize the opportunity to do is blood some more youngsters at Celtic Park between now and May, and our landlord thinks he might just be well served in doing so.

With that in mind, here are TWO Celtic wonderkids who could emerge between now and the end of the season…

Jack Aitchison

16-year-old Aitchison has already made a few sub appearances for the Hoops, and looks to be an excellent striking prospect.

With Brendan Rodgers known for trusting his young players, Aitchison will be hoping for even more first team exposure between now and the end of the season, where he will look to add his sole goal so far in the first team.

Eboue Kouassi

New signing Kouassi will be hoping to hit the ground running, and at just 20-years-old, looks to have a bright future ahead of him.

It was a smart move to bring in the young midfielder by Brendan Rodgers in January, and with the right amount of coaching and nurturing, he could make a real impact at Celtic Park.
