Alberto Moreno
Alberto Moreno has seen his game time reduce in recent weeks after a torrid start to the season, with James Milner filling in on the left-hand side of the Liverpool defence.
With Klopp looking to pursue a title challenge this season, he cannot afford to have defenders that are inconsistent and unreliable – and that is exactly what Moreno is.
The German could look to sign a replacement defender, as Milner is undoubtedly only a short-term option – and that could spell the end of Moreno’s spell in Merseyside.
Mamadou Sakho
Mamadou Sakho is yet to get a look in this season under Jurgen Klopp, after a string of off-the-field incidents interrupted his pre-season.
The French defender looked good in parts last year, but he has been frozen out by the manager – and it is unlikely that he will ever be given an opportunity under Klopp again.
Granted, he has slowly been getting his fitness back over the last few weeks – but Klopp is yet to speak on the matter, and at present; a departure looks likely.
Simon Mignolet
Simon Mignolet has seen his long-run as Liverpool first choice goalkeeper come to an end, with Jurgen Klopp preferring Loris Karius between-the-sticks for the Reds.
The Belgian isn’t used to playing second fiddle, and so it appears unlikely that he will stick around if he isn’t going to play every week.
His departure is one that Klopp would rather avoid, but it seems inevitable.
