These 3 players could follow Rob Holding to Arsenal this summer – Excited?

The Football Transfer Tavern is well and truly full to the brim of punters looking to find out the latest transfer news, with gossip flying round at a scarily frequent rate.

Arsenal confirmed the signing of highly-rated Bolton Wanderers centre-back Rob Holding, in what is the club’s third signing of the summer.

The Gooners by the jukebox here in the Tavern are pretty disgruntled still, with them all feeling the club need to sign a world-class, established striker – someone like a certain Gonzalo Higuain!

Our landlord watched Bolton a number of times last season, and was impressed with the 19-year-old defender and thinks he could definitely play a part for the north London side moving forward.

The Gunners faithful here are already looking to who they should sign next, with them creating list of THREE players that could ultimately follow Holding to the club this summer….

Mauro Icardi

The Inter Milan striker is continuously being linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium this summer.

The landlord here in the Tavern feels the 23-year-old has the talent to become a real hit in north London, and says Wenger should pull out all the stops to secure a deal for the Inter striker.

Icardi has all the attributes needed to be a top modern-day striker, with his quick feet and clinical finishing making him a superb all-round striker.

Matthias Ginter

The 22-year-old Borussia Dortmund defender is being linked with a switch to Arsenal, and the Arsenal fans here in the Tavern would love to see the youngster at the club next season.

The club definitely need to bolster their defensive resources if they are to mount a serious push for the Premier League title, and Ginter would be a fantastic start.

Riyad Mahrez

The star of Leicester City’s amazing season last campaign.

The Algerian would be a fantastic signing for Arsenal, and would add another element of creativity to what is a talented midfield already.

His trickery, pace and decision-making terrorised Premier League defences last season, and Arsenal are supposedly keeping tabs on the midfielder.

The punters here in the Transfer Tavern feel this would be an unreal acquisition for the club, but don’t think Wenger will pull out his finger!
