With Henrikh Mkhitaryan set for a move to Manchester United, our local Red Devils punters in the Transfer Tavern are excited about who could follow the Armenian to the club.
The Dortmund man is one of the hottest properties in Europe and the touted £26.3 million price tag looks a real steal, as Jose Mourinho looks to turn his new team back into title challengers.
The Red Devils have been somewhat in the Premier League wilderness for the last few seasons but with the former Chelsea boss coming in, bringing a wealth of title winning experience with him, a change of fortunes is widely expected at the 20-time English champions.
Mkhitaryan would no doubt improve the quality of United’s attack to make them a real force again but who else could join him? There’s plenty of time left with the transfer window open and our landlord think this FIVE could be on their way to the north west of England in the very near future……
Neymar

The Brazilian forward has been linked with a move to Old Trafford and that looks set to continue this Summer.
The Barcelona man started off last season in scintillating form but eventually was eclipsed by Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi – nothing to be ashamed about – as Barca won La Liga.
He could want to prove himself at the Nou Camp and become the main man but if not he’d certainly warrant that status at United.
James Rodriguez

Rodriguez has struggled at Real after initially impressing.
One of the stars of the 2014 World Cup, the Colombian secured a move to the Bernabeu and after a strong enough debut campaign, last season saw him seemingly fall down the pecking order under Zinedine Zidane.
You cannot doubt the South American’s quality though and United are one of the few clubs that can afford to test Real’s resolve over keeping him.
Paul Pogba

The former United youth prospect became disenchanted at the club and sought a move in order to gain more first team football.
It was a decision that proved fruitful as the Frenchman has gone on to great things with Juventus as well as establishing himself as one of the best midfielders in world football.
Any team would love to get him in and if United can persuade him to finish what he started at the club it would prove a real statement.
Andre Gomes

The young Portugal player is regarded as one of the brightest young attacking midfielders about, and Mourinho might feel working with his compatriot would help get the best out of him.
The Valencia man was a key figure at the Mestalla last season but with the club enduring an underwhelming season, Gomes might feel it’s time to move to further his career and at Old Trafford this would surely happen.
Toni Kroos

Kroos is a world class footballer but for whatever reason he hasn’t quite had the adulation at Real Madrid that he perhaps deserves.
Luka Modric excelled last season, over shadowing Kroos and the German will want to show that he should be the Galacticos play-maker.
Whether he gets the chance to remains to be seen though as with United’s chief passer Michael Carrick coming to the end of his career, the former Bayern man could be firmly in United’s sights.
