The majority of our regular punters fully expect the Mourinho era to end within the next couple of years as is his history with previous clubs. The United boss may just be angling at getting a new lucrative contract but there is a huge possibility of the Portuguese gaffer to take his show to the French league.

Having managed in England, Spain, Italy and Portugal already he has ambition to manage in every top European league and you can only imagine that the bright lights of new European giants PSG would be his ideal next destination, our landlord has discussed three reasons with the rest of the bar stalwarts why Jose Mourinho could actually make the move to Ligue 1.

Personal Ambition

Mourinho has won many trophies in many different leagues over his career, he’ll look to do what no manager has done before and win the league in each country in the top European league.

When the Mourinho roadshow rolls into town, it lasts around three years before leaving in a cloud of self-explosion, he’ll never change and his success blueprint is the reason he’s been to so many big clubs combine that with the drive to win at any costs, it’s no wonder every club wants him.

Money

The place to be at the minute is France, after forking out silly money for Neymar and probably matching that next year with Kylian Mbappe, the French club have the muscle to be one of the European powerhouses if managed right.

Mourinho would have the financial backing to make the board’s dreams happen and would be rewarded handsomely. Mourinho isn’t daft, he knows with his managerial clock ticking down each day a money move to PSG could be perfect timing in his plans.

The power play

For PSG to truly make it in the Champions League and to be considered as one of Europe’s elite, they need the right man with the right attitude to steer the ship in the right direction.

The Portuguese fits the bill for the board and making the move for the Old Trafford boss would be deemed a very good move, especially how he seems to have turned United around in recent seasons after a dismal couple of years.
